The DL3500 continues the functionality of the current DL2000/DL3000
product line. It offers both the new addition of DH-485 as
well as a plug and play USB interface. As well as having the
DH+ and 232/422/485 capabilities of the DL3000.
The fully
populated DL3500 Model will also allow Bridging between DH+
(Data Highway Plus) and DH485 networks in one unit. New is
the ability to power the DL3500 from the USB communication
link, removing the sometimes cumbersome procedure of location
an AC or DC power supply when using laptops or PC’s
in the field.
Modbus to DH-485 Network: Interfaces serial devices and networks using Modbus protocol
to DH485. Configurable for Modbus Master or Modbus Slave in
RTU or ASCII modes.
DF1 to DH+ Network: The DL3500-DH+/DF1 is a low cost, compact alternative to
Allen-Bradley's 1770-KF2. Also provides the same functionality
as the 1784-P(KTX), 1784-PCMK or SST 5136-SD.The DataLink
converts A-B DF1, (Modbus & ASCII also available) serial
protocol to A-B DH+ network protocol providing a serial interface
to DH+ for computers, modems and OEM equipment.
Modbus to DH+: Interfaces serial devices and networks using Modbus protocol
to DH+. Configurable for Modbus
Master or Modbus
Slave in RTU or ASCII modes. Enables communications between
DH+ and Modbus Plus when combined with a Modicon BM85 Bridge
Multiplexer.
DH+ to ASCII: The DL3500-DH+/ASCII is an amalgamation of two existing
products: the DL3000-ASM and the DL3000-ASC. The improved
compact freestanding ASCII serial interface gives customers
the ability to send as well as receive ASCII messages via A-B Data Highway Plus.
DH+ to RIO: The DataLink DL3500-KFR is a compact, freestanding, serial
interface to Allen-Bradley industrial
networks. This unit contains one network protocol, software configurable
for Remote I/O Link (RIO) networks. The
DataLink
connects any serial device capable of A-B serial DF1 (Standard DF1) protocol
to A-B's RIO
Link.
DL3500-Bridging
DH+ to DH+ over a Serial link
Requires two or more DL3500's with DataLink's proven bridging
algorithim to create a bridge between DH+ networks. Simple
configuration using our DL32 program of the bridging and DH+
Parameters is all that is needed. Can be used with Optical,
Radio, or Telephone Modems to achieve remote network access.
Global Status Word passing between the networks is also available.
